ROC at CMU (formerly Student Advocates for Forced Migrants) is primarily an advocacy-based chapter that connects their members to people currently experiencing displacement through ROC’s pen pal program, and by organizing regular educational events and meetings.

One of ROC CMU’s bi-weekly meetings, during this meeting they organized an info session about the children detention centers organized in the USA to isolate and detain children seeking refuge in the US.

ROC CMU organized a  Social Justice through Storytelling  panel discussion in collaboration with numerous student organizations to discuss the process of othering and how to stand in solidarity with marginalized peoples.
